Anyone that has been lucky enough to visit either of the London YMC stores will share our curiosity and intrigue with the brand.

It's inspired by the Victorian passion for knowledge and curios - embracing taxidermy, the occult and science in equal measures. We're pretty sure they're aren't many stores with a fully functional mortuary slab as a central display for bags and accessories.

YMC (You Must Create) was formed in 1995 by Fraser Moss and Jimmy Collins with inspiration as varied and diverse as there stores. A mixture of workwear, punk, outward bound attire and military wear from the other side of the Atlantic results in a timeless collection of individual pieces free from the usual fads.

Understated knitwear, skillfully tailored shirting and jackets full of hidden details- YMC is unique and here at Shed we love it.
